Pilot Training
Intro Flight
Your Intro Flight will consist of about 30 minutes of actual flight time and between 30 minutes and 1 hour of Ground Time with the Instructor. During this time I will talk about the airplane we will fly in and a little about the controls and control surfaces involved in flying. The flight can involve time with you at the controls actually flying the aircraft, and the flight time is able to be logged toward your Pilot's License. In the air I will discuss how to keep the aircraft straight and level as well as how to perform turns in the aircraft. Weather permitting the flight will be over the water from Montgomery Field to La Jolla or over Mission Bay and Downtown.
Your intro flight actually counts as your first lesson!

Plus One Flyers and Golden Wings Flying Clubs Hold Their New Member Briefing. This is mandatory for new members and includes all the information you will need to start flying.
